Because the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the opportunity to submit an application for funding through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The application window will close on fifteen December 2024, and you will find not many days left to post applications. Eligible students are urged to apply immediately to secure economic aid for his or her post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.
Nkabane claimed this pivotal moment marks the culmination of a long time of hard work and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their read more examinations with dedication and self confidence.
With Just in excess of 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from throughout South Africa sit for this year's matric examinations, across South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the general public with the department's preparedness to administer the tests efficiently.
Nkabane highlighted a selection of alternatives obtainable in the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) system, which is open to all matriculants seeking here additional education and learning and skills development.
The PSET system incorporates:
• Community Education and Training (CET) colleges: Providing skills development and general education for students who want to carry on learning.
